Developer update — Dec 6th 2020
In this progress update we would like to share with you what has been happening with the Libertas Project behind closed doors. Recently we have also published an article detailing token economics and our vision for the future of our platform and LIBERTAS token, so please read it for further information.
As many of you know, we have already launched our MVP where users have begun uploading podcasts. You can read our official release announcement here. We have been monitoring performance and stability for any issues and we are proud to say our player is working as intended for the initial release. On top of that we have released a few additions, such as volume slider and the ability to navigate using arrows and spacebar. We are continuously working on additional enhancements — adding menus, login interface and much more. Today we are happy to share with you the user interface (UI) we are working on:
Additionally, we have made great progress on the legal side, making sure our service is compliant with any regulatory obstacles. For this reason we kindly ask our users to upload only content with creator’s consent and to avoid any illegal content — we are here to ensure everyone can practice their right to free speech but not at the cost of anyone’s freedom or security.
We have also hired a full time Telegram moderator to give us more time to focus on the product and will be further expanding our team as we are in search of a talented JavaScript + CSS developer. If you would like to be a part of our development team please do not hesitate to get in touch!
